Join us for an exhilarating diving adventure in the Philippines. Kick off with an optional pre-week at the Atlantis Hotel Dumaguete Resort before embarking on the Philippines Aggressor liveaboard for a seven-night journey through the stunning Tubbataha Reefs National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, acclaimed for its scuba diving, hosts over 1200 marine species. Only accessible via liveaboard from March to June, this sought-after destination requires early booking due to its limited availability. Dive into the depths of the North Atoll, South Atoll, and the Jessie Beazley Reef, located northwest of the main atolls. Look forward to encounters with whales, sharks, dolphins, manta rays, turtles, and schools of barracuda, trevally, and jack fish. We’re thrilled to offer this group trip and eager to explore this spectacular diving locale with you.

ROOM DETAILS

  • Comfortable accommodations for 24 guests include 12 spacious staterooms, with 5 on the lower deck, 4 on the main deck, and 3 balcony suites on the upper deck. All have a private bathroom and shower. Each stateroom has ample storage and individual climate controls. Staterooms have a safe aboard to store valuables such as passports, cash, credit cards or anything else you would like to store.

  • Stateroom amenities and services include hairdryer, bathrobes, closet and drawer space, individual climate control, television with movie selection, daily steward service, nightly turn down service, morning beverage service.

DIVE INFORMATION

Philippines Tubbataha Reef

Tubbataha sits in the Sulu Sea and is in the middle of the Coral Triangle between Indonesia, Malayasia and the Philippines. The Tubbataha Reefs National Parks is an UNESCO World Heritage site. The atolls are made up of the North Atoll, South Atoll and the Jessie Beazley Reef to the northwest of the main atolls and are all part of the park.

  • Boarding: 4 pm

  • Check out: 8 am

  • 3-4 dives each day, up to 20

  • The Tubbataha Reefs National Parks does not permit night diving.

  • Depth Range:  40 – 130 ft (12m – 40m)

  • Water temperature averages 77 - 85F, 21 - 29C.

  • 3mm wetsuit recommended

 

All dives are made from the 20 ft custom built zodiacs capable of carrying 12 guests.

DIVE ITINERARY - TUBBATAHA REEFS

Northern Tip of North Atoll

The northern tip of the North atoll is an area with high diversity of shark species such as blacktips, white tips, grey reef sharks, silky sharks in addition to turtles, rays and whale sharks. The walls have beautiful soft corals, barrel sponges and lots of cleaning stations.

Southern Tip of North Atoll

In this area lies a shipwreck dive site, Malayan Wreck located on an beautiful wall. This shipwreck scuba diving experience includes big animal action with the chance to see dogtooth tuna, giant trivially, different species of barracuda in large schools, turtles, manta rays and almost every kind of native reef fish imaginable.

Northern Tip of South Atoll

This area is known for hammerhead sharks, large pelagics, different species of sharks and reef fish.

Jessie Beazley Reef

This area has pristine coral with an area of branching acropora corals and lots of species of sharks can be seen; hammerheadsharks, silky sharks and even whale sharks.

PHILIPPINES AGGRESSOR

The Philippines Aggressor is 135 feet long with a 28.5 ft. beam, built and powered for comfort, safety and stability. There is a beautiful spacious salon, sun deck with shading, chaise lounges and deck chairs, bar, and grill. The yacht is diesel powered, cruises at 10 knots and has 220V and 110V power onboard.

Comfortable accommodations for 24 guests include 12 spacious staterooms, with 5 on the lower deck, 4 on the main deck, and 3 balcony suites on the upper deck. All have a private bathroom and shower. Each stateroom has ample storage and individual climate controls. Staterooms have a safe aboard to store valuables such as passports, cash, credit cards or anything else you would like to store.

There is a variety of nightly entertainment, including diving, fish identification presentations, movies, games and more. If you have a favorite movie or presentation to share, we encourage you to bring it along. The staff especially loves new releases of movies, recent magazines and books. A small library of books for exchange is maintained onboard as well as fish identification books for reference.

Dining

The menu aboard is varied and plentiful, with a variety of American feasts, barbecues and local cuisine. If you have any special dietary requirements, please add this to your reservation through the GIS and speak to the yacht chef once onboard so he/she can adequately prepare to meet your needs. You will wake up to fresh fruits, hot entrees, cereals and juices. Lunches feature hot soups, homemade breads, salads and sandwiches and/or entrees. Dinners are chef prepared and served each evening and include salads, vegetables, seafood, beef or chicken with a fresh homemade dessert. Certain special dietary and beverage requests may not be available due to the remote nature of this location so we highly recommend you bring these items with you.

The Aggressor’s beverage selection includes fruit juices, soft drinks, iced water, iced tea, coffee, and a limited selection of local beer and wine, which are complimentary. Due to the high duty charged on liquor, we suggest you bring your special brand. Drinking and diving do not mix. Once you consume alcohol, you become a sunbather until the next day.

What is included

  • All meals, snacks and beverages are provided. Aggressor’s beverage selection includes fruit juices, soft drinks, iced water, tea, coffee, and a limited selection of local beer and wine, which are complimentary. 

  • Diving Package, Cabin Towels, Complimentary Toiletries.

  • 3-4 dives each day, up to 20. Night diving is not permitted in Tubbataha Reefs National Parks.

  • Airfare to Philippines not included*

  • Travel insurance**

  • Port and Park Fees for Tubbataha: $150 per person.*** 

  • Each guest must pay a port/park fee, and 12% VAT for onboard sales.***

  • Taxes and fees are to be paid onboard and at the end of the charter when checking out.*** 

  • Gratuities are not included at all Aggressor destinations.  Tipping is voluntary and based on the service the staff has provided you.  The Manager will provide envelopes for gratuities upon settling your account at the end of the week.  Gratuities are shared equally among all staff. All Aggressors accept cash, Visa, and MasterCard payments for gratuities. ***

Scuba Diving:

From wide angle to macro, Puerto Galera offers over 40 dive sites along its coast, with great diversity: from relaxed critter diving (haven for photographers!) with an abundance of reef fish, to wonderful drift dives,a couple of small wrecks, and a day trip to the incredible Verde Island. With several inner bays offer shallow coral gardens and sandy patches, while the outer bay walls offer incredibly vivid corals, with canyons, swim throughs, rock formations and a couple of small wrecks with heaps of reef fish.

The following scale is a rough gauge of the difficulty of our dive sites. Factors include depth, visibility and current strength. It is not definitive as these conditions change daily.

Q - How do we book this?

Q - Do I have to book both the Atlantis Hotel Puerto Galera dive week and the Philippines Aggressor Liveaboard?

A -  No, the Atlantis Hotel dive week is an optional extra.

Q - Can you book everything we need for this trip?

A - Yes, we can book airfares, accommodation and anything else you may want to do before and after your dive trip.

Q - Is insurance necessary?

A - Yes, we highly recommend you get insurance.

Q - What insurance options are available?

A - We can provide you with a policy that will cover you if you are sick and can’t travel at the time of the cruise, this will give you back 100% of your monies paid with medical certificate from Doctor, there are also other conditions that this policy pays on. A Policy will be provided with all the conditions for you. Your age and the cost of your cabin determines this cost.

Cancel for Any Reason Insurance is also possible, but this insurance must be purchased at time of deposit. It will cover you at 80% of the money you have paid out, but it will allow you to cancel for Any Reason. Your age and the cost of your cabin determines this cost. This is more slightly expensive that the medical insurance coverage above.
